Patricia Lena (Morgan) Snavely, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully in her home in Beeville, Texas, on December 18, 2025, at the age of 83.
Patsy, as she was lovingly known, was born July 21, 1942, in Mathis, Texas, to William Knox Morgan and Alma Dena (Dobie) Morgan. After earning a bachelor’s degree in education, Patsy dedicated many years to shaping young minds as an elementary school teacher. She made a lasting impact throughout her lifetime, not only in her profession but also in her cherished relationships. On June 21, 1965, she married the love of her life, Robert Lee Snavely. Together, they shared a beautiful union that lasted for an incredible 60 years, a testament to their deep love and commitment to one another. She took immense pride and joy in her family.
Patsy enjoyed gardening, traveling and shopping and her adventurous spirit led her to embark on memorable trips to Australia, a place she treasured. She found joy in sharing and gifting, always eager to spread happiness to those around her.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, William and Alma Morgan.
Left behind to cherish fond memories include her beloved husband, Robert Snavely; her son, Craig Snavely; daughter-in-law, Elisha Snavely; her beloved granddaughter, Natasha Snavely; her brother, William K. Morgan Jr.; and her sister, Dena Elaine Morgan. They, along with many others, will fondly remember and miss her.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Cenizo Hills Cemetery in Mathis, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Patsy’s name may be made to a charity, cause or organization of one’s choice.
