Patricia (Patti) Jane Boyd, age 74 of Nixa, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024. She was born October 28, 1949, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Thomas Francis and Jean Adelaide “Smercina” Rabbitt. On July 6, 1968, Patricia was united in marriage to her best friend Paul E. Boyd, Jr. for 56 beautiful years.

Patricia was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed being a Red Hatter. She liked to go shopping and more than anything, loved spending time with her family, friends, and sisters. There has never been a sweeter, kinder woman than Patti, and everyone that knew her, loved her.

 Survivors include: her husband, Paul Boyd of Nixa; children, Charles Jonathan Boyd and wife Tamara of Billings and Jennifer Jean Adkins and husband Peter of Ozark; grandchildren, Calah and Jacob Anderson of Crane, Andrew Boyd of Springfield, Noah Boyd of Billings, Elliyana Adkins and Sophia Adkins of Ozark; great grandson, Eastyn Anderson; sisters, Judith Elfrank, Deborah Hall, Susan Owens and husband Bob; sister-in-law, Marge Place-Tieken and husband Weldon. Additionally, she is survived by many nieces and nephews that were loved dearly.

 Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Kathleen Beffa; nephew, Kevin Beffa; brothers in law, Donald Hall and Glen Elfrank; sisters in law, Joyce (George) Bowen, and Darla (Dan) Miller.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm Saturday, August 10, 2024 in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. A celebration of life will follow at 3:00 pm in the funeral home officiated by Father Thomas Reidy.

Cremation rites were accorded by Adams Crematory. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa
