Patricia “Patty” Alcorn, 73, passed away on December 5, 2025, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was born on May 10, 1952, in St. Louis to James and Ruth Partney.
Patty devoted her life to caring for others. After earning her college degree in nursing, she spent many years serving patients at Harris Hospital, Newport Hospital, and St. Bernards before transitioning to be a travel nurse. Even after working long shifts, she still ensured her family was cared for before she ever rested. Patty was a deeply loving and involved mother and grandmother, always placing her family at the center of her world.
After retiring, she embraced her greatest joy: spending time with her grandchildren. Whether celebrating their milestones or simply being present in their daily lives, Patty cherished every moment with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Brenda Green.
Patty leaves behind her two sons, Robert Alcorn Jr. and his wife, Camille, and James Alcorn and his wife, Brandy; the father of her children, Bobby Alcorn; as well as her beloved grandchildren, Aiden, Taylor, Willa, and Camber.
