HOUSTON - Patricia Pence, 89, of Houston, passed away peacefully at 12:29 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Hospice of Miami County. She was born December 10, 1936, in Lewisburg to the late Harold and Catherine (Wysong) Kesling. She married Richard "Dick" Pence November 10, 1961, and he survives.
Survivors include three children, Cathy (Bob) Helman of Sidney, Jeffery Benbow of Houston, Lori Pence of Houston; brother, Michael Kesling of Hamilton; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter in law, Connie Benbow and sister-in-law, Lorraine Kesling.
Patricia was a homemaker all her life. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Patricia enjoyed going out to eat with her family. She was of the Lutheran faith.
A service to honor her life will begin at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2026, at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Keith Gebhart officiating. Private burial will be at Beechwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00-1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County, Inc. 3230 N. County Rd. 25A, Troy, OH 45373. Guestbook condolences and expressions of sympathy, to be provided to the family, may be expressed through jamiesonandyannucci.com.
