Patricia Jane Pierson, age 83, of Mankato passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Generations Child & Memory Care surrounded by her family.
Memorial service will be at 11 a.m., on Monday, August 26, 2024, at Knollwood Christian Church, St. Louis Park, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Oak Land Cemetery, Brainerd. Northview – North Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Patricia was born on January 4, 1941, to Charles Sr. and Dolly (Miller) Otto in Mankato. Patricia married her high school sweetheart, Gregory Joseph Pierson on December 27, 1958. She held many different positions in retail, and healthcare, but spent most of her time working side by side with her husband at Lakeland Envelope until both of their retirements.
Patricia was a woman of great faith and often shared her love of Jesus with those around her. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, baking, canning, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Patricia is survived by her children, Brian (Belisa) Pierson, Sherry Pierson, Laura (Gregory) Dols, Bruce (friend, Annette Bradley) Pierson, Stephanie Silva, and Scott (Tammi) Pierson; 13 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory Pierson; parents, Charles Sr. and Dolly Otto; grandsons, Matthew Dols, and Jacob Silva; siblings, Charles Otto Jr., Barbara Dvergsten, John Otto, and Jim Otto.
