Patricia Lenore Pieti

Patricia Lenore (Wanhala) Pieti, age 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Gardenview Assisted Living in Calumet, Michigan.
Patricia was born on July 23, 1937, in Centennial, Michigan, to parents Jacob and Eva (Keranen) Wanhala.
She attended local schools graduating from Calumet High Scholl with the class of 1955. After High School she attended Highland Park Jr. College where she graduated with her associate degree.
In September of 1962, she married the love of her life David Pieti.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents Jacob and Eva Wanhala, her son Bret Pieti, her granddaughter Kendra Opie, her sisters Lorraine, Marilyn, and Janice, and her brother Ronald.
Patricia is survived by her husband David.
Her son Marc (Bette Ann) Pieti.
Her daughters Sara (Dale) Mattson, Lisa (Greg) Opie, Kristi Pieti, Andrea (Stanley) Johnson,
and Daughter in-law Sara Pieti. Her
brother John and sister Elaine.
Patricia is also survived by grandchildren Stephanie, Jason, Ryan, Jared, Annastiina, Meliina, Eric, Ray, Nina, Jenny, Bradley, Thomas, Eva, Mikko, Seth, Jacob, Nathan, Corey, Marcy, Jillian, Micah, Emma, Matthew, Andrew, Lydia and Trica.
She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service for Patricia will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at the First Apostolic Lutheran Church in Calumet.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am-12:00 pm, on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at the First Apostolic Lutheran Church.
A luncheon follows the funeral service at the church.
The burial will take place at Lake View Cemetery later in the spring.
The Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home will be assisting the family with arrangements.
