PATRICIA RUPP

PATRICIA RUPP Patricia Kay Rupp, 80, of Moundridge, Kansas, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Pine Village in Moundridge. She was born on August 30, 1943 in Newton, Kansas, to Benjamin V. and Ruth (Schrag) Wedel. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Bethel College. She was a member of the Eden Mennonite Church in rural Moundridge. Pat had previously attended West Zion Mennonite Church. Pat worked as a Registered Nurse at Mercy Hospital. She later worked at Pine Village for 18 years, where she was the Director of Nursing. Pat was also the Director of Nursing for the Bethesda Home in Goessel and Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community in Buhler. She was united in marriage to Mark Rupp on April 2, 1965 in Moundridge. Pat enjoyed going to her book club in Moundridge and was involved with the Mennonite Historical Society and S.M.C.H.A. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Mark Rupp of Moundridge; son, William (Kim) Rupp of Moundridge; six grandchildren, Ian Scott (Chase), Emily Scott (Brent), Briana Rupp, Brayden Rupp, Megan Sizemore, and Jessika Board (Dennis); 10 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Pauletta (Stan) Brodhagen of Wichita, and Connie (Rex) Esau of Austin, TX. Pat was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jackie Scott; sister, Cindy Jantzen; and daughter-in-law, Kim Rupp. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Eden Mennonite Church, Moundridge.Services can be livestreamed at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81751799704?pwd=E4TyniWQ4jSSMLm5Ohr4UOfs0aYuee.1, Meeting ID: 817 5179 9704, Passcode: 67107.
