Looking at Aunt Pat's picture brings a smile to my face. When I was younger, I had a habit of driving from my house in Topeka, KS to Uncle Jim and Aunt Pat's house, showing up unannounced. Or calling from a payphone (showing my age) once I was in their area to get directions. They couldn't say, "Don't come" after I drove all that way, right? I was never turned away, but always made to feel welcome.
Aunt Pat was like a second mother to me. She cared for me with love, but she wouldn't take any garbage. I spoke with her through the years, but not enough and not very recently. That is a regret of mine.
Karen, Tom, Jim, Marilyn and the rest of Aunt Pat's family: I am very sorry for your loss. I have nothing but good memories of my relationship with Aunt Pat, going way back before my teen years. I am so glad she was a part of my life and family. She will always be in my heart.
I love you!

Patsy was a little older than me, so I looked up to her. I can remember going
to the Trozpeck house to play with Patsy. I loved those grandparents of hers!
Pat's dad and my dad were brothers. We didn't get to see them very often as we lived in Michigan, our everyt 6 months trip to Chicago was it. I'll miss Pat, even
tho I wasn't able to be with her much.
