Patricia Ann Sanders

PATRICIA ANN SANDERS, 79, died at 3:20 p.m. Febebruary 15, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born August 18, 1926, in Lima, Ohio to William F. and Bessy Ford Landes, who preceded her in death. On August 18, 1946, she married Lester E. Sanders Jr., who died December 25, 1999. Mrs. Sanders had retired as a school bus driver for Bath schools and had been an assembler at Westinghouse Electric Corp., Lima, Ohio. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275 Auxiliary, Lima, Ohio, the Bath Boosters Club and the Auglaize Spotted Pups. She was a life member of Ohio Association of Public School Employees. She was a graduate of Lima Central High School. She enjoyed golfing and bowling. Survivors include two sons, Doug (Shelly) Sanders of Lima, Ohio and Denny (Jenny) Sanders of Canfield; a daughter, Deb (Paul) Weihrauch of Bluffton, Ohio; 11 grandchildren, Shawn (Jim) Dunahay, Sara Weihrauch, Stacie Weihrauch, Amanda Sanders, Stephanie Sanders, Doug Sanders, Josh Weihrauch, Jordan Sanders, Emily Sanders, Madalyn Sanders and Alex Sanders; and four great-grandchildren, Briar Dunahay, Olivia Dunahay, Hannah Dunahay and Maggie Dunahay. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry L. Landes. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Father Thomas Lacey will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
