Patricia D. Sanes

 

Patricia (Pat) Dianne Sanes, age 71, passed away peacefully on September 30th, 2023 surrounded by her family and loved ones.

 

Pat was born in Norfolk, VA to the late Eddie Wilson and the late Mildred D. Wilson. She lived in the DC and Maryland area spending some of her younger years in North Carolina.  She was married to her devoted husband, Larry for 38 years and they raised their 3 beautiful children.

 

Pat retired from the Prince George’s County School System as a cafeteria supervisor and truly enjoyed being the “boss” of the kitchen.  She worked hard to give the kids a good meal, and words of wisdom to go along with it.

 

She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses February 21, 1976.  She joyfully served her God, Jehovah and had a love and zeal for the ministry, sharing the wonderful Bible truths she learned with others. Her strong faith is what helped her to endure her recent illnesses with dignity.

 

She loved eating crabs, dancing and spending time with her family and friends. She was well known for having a clean and tidy house, you could smell the Pine-Sol entering the front door! The highlight of her day included weekly visits and sleepovers with her grand-kids. Pat was one of a kind and will be dearly missed and always remembered.

 

She is survived by her husband Larry Sanes Sr, her daughters, Milelene Gunyon (Ben), Patrice Wilson and her son Larry Sanes Jr. (Francoise); siblings: Sylvia Bullock (Alexander), Jacqueline Williamson, Kevin Vann (Robin), and Rhonda Pearson (Reginald); grandchildren Devin, Dante (Byanca), Caitlin (Reggie), Evan, Stacey Dee, Layah and Paris; great granddaughter, Sarai.  Multitude of beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.

 

We request all of Patricia’s loved ones to join us for memorial services Thursday, October 12, 2023, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses
