Patricia Sarvis Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Myrtle Beach Funeral Home - Myrtle Beach on Mar. 11, 2026.
Patricia Ann "Monk" Sarvis, age 65, passed away on March 10, 2026, in Cool Springs, South Carolina. She was born on December 10, 1960, in Loris, South Carolina, to the late John Dewey Sarvis and Anna Marjorie Sarvis.

Patricia had a fun-loving spirit and a wonderful sense of humor. She loved to laugh and brought joy to those around her. One of her favorite pastimes was fishing and camping, where she found peace and happiness. Above all else, Patricia loved her family and friends deeply and cherished the time she spent with them. In her younger years, she was a talented home and commercial painter and took pride in her work.

She is survived by her sisters, Bonnie Hughes (Bobby), Connie Gardner, and Phyllis Gardner; her nieces and nephews, Christopher Hughes (Sara), Rocky Hughes (Janeen), Nicole VanVoorhis (Joe), Shawn Pitman-Anderson (Michael), Joey Pitman (Carole), Charlene Hughes Leigh (Tim), Kasey Herrington (Rob), and Jenni Lyn Gardner; her aunts, Carrie Lewis and Patsy Elhage; her uncle, Marcus Johnson; and many beloved cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her brother, John Dewey Sarvis Jr.

Patricia was also joyfully reunited with her loyal companion and beloved dog, Kelsie.

A private Celebration of Patricia's Life will be held by her family.
