Patricia Schellas

Patricia Schellas (née Klein), 86, died peacefully at home surrounded by family on November 5, 2025, four years to the date of the death of her beloved husband of 61 years, Artie. Pat was a loving mother of four children, proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren and two step-grandchildren and was ecstatic to become "Gigi" to five great-grandchildren. Pat was a longtime resident of Baldwin, NY and was a great neighbor to many of the families on Hastings St.

Pat was a talented seamstress, and after she raised her children, she became an entrepreneur when she opened her own business, Challenging Designs. Through this business, Pat provided much needed garments and other essential items to individuals struggling with mental health challenges.

In addition to her husband, Pat is predeceased by her oldest brother, Henry and her loving granddaughter Kristin. She is survived by her children Scott Schellas (Rosemarie), Patty-Ann Schellas, Penny Rooney (Michael) and Susan Serkisyan (Sarkis); grandchildren and step-grandchildren Scott Schellas (Lisa), Melissa Schellas, Kimberly O'Malley, Kerry Longo (Peter), Kevin Camacho (Shannon), Kayla Gallagher, Jimmy Gallagher, Matthew Gallagher, Amanda Rooney, Cindy Cheshire, Shawn Serkisyan, and Kate Serkisyan; and great grandchildren Scotty Schellas, McKinley Cheshire, Aidan O'Malley, Valerie Longo, and Sawyer Schellas. She is also survived by her loving younger brother and sister-in-law, Louie and Margaret Klein.

Viewing will be held at Cecere Fullerton Family Funeral Home in Baldwin, NY on Sunday November 9, 2023 from 3-8 p.m.
