Mrs. Patricia Harris Shipp, age 76, of Dallas, Georgia passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025 in Austell, Georgia.
Mrs. Shipp was born November 9, 1948 in Atlanta, Georgia to Mr. Joe Clyde Harris and Mrs. Claudia Mae Burrand Harris. She has been married to Mr. Randy Shipp for more than 58 years. Mrs. Shipp worked for more than 36 years for Georgia Power. She has been a member of New Georgia Baptist Church for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to many.
Mrs. Shipp was preceded in death by: Son, Mr. Barry Shipp; Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Clyde (Claudia) Harris; Sister, Miss Brenda Harris; Father in Law, Mr. Marvin Shipp; Mother in Law, Mrs. Margie Shipp Rainey.
She is survived by: Loving Husband, Mr. Randy Shipp; Son, Mr. and Mrs. Brad Shipp (Haley); Grandchildren, Taylor and Jacob McClung, Zachary Shipp, Shayna Osborne, Montana Osborne; Great Grandchildren, Juliette McClung, Millie McClung, Leila McClung, Scarlett Lane, Kyleigh Lane and Daemon Osborne; Brother, Mr. Michael Harris (Karen); Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Patricia Shipp will be held Thursday, August 14, 2025, 11:00 A.M. at Benson Funeral Home. Dr. Keith Stell and Brother Charlie Grinstead will officiate. Interment will follow at Peaceful Meadows Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation for Mrs. Shipp will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2025, 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. and Thursday, August 14, 2025, 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. at Benson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations given to the New Georgia Baptist Church Building Fund.
