Patricia A. Sima

Patricia A. (McGrath) Sima, 88, of Greensburg, died Monday, Nov. 25, 2024, in the St. Anne Home. She was born June 2, 1936, in Hannastown, a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Anna C. Zuzik McGrath. Patty had worked at WT Grants in Greensburg before moving with her husband and working as a supervisor for Aramark Food Services in Arlington, VA at the Pentagon. After her husband, John, retired, they relocated to Bedford for a time and then settled in Greensburg, where she became a member of St. Bartholomew Church. She enjoyed going out to dinner with her husband but truly loved cooking and spending time with her family. All of her nieces and nephews loved Aunt Patty's halupki. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Sima; siblings, infant Mary Jane McGrath, Carmelita Jackson, Kathleen Wilkins, and Thomas P. McGrath; niece Bridget McGrath; and nephew Michael McGrath. She is survived by her brother, Kevin McGrath (Gina) of Hannastown; brother-in-law, Ronald T. Wilkins (Darlene) of MD; a very special niece, Mary Lou Bolkovac of Hannastown; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews from both sides of the family. Relatives and friends of Patricia will be received Sunday, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020. Prayers of transfer will be said in the funeral home Monday, at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in the St. Bartholomew Church, Crabtree, with Fr. Justin Matro, OSB, celebrating. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at St. Anne Home for their loving and compassionate care during her stay there, as well as the staff of Excela Hospice, especially Ashly and Kaylee, who were so kind and loving.
