Patricia Ann Sirrine

Patricia (Pat) Ann Carter Worden Sirrine, 94 of Midland, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2024 at StoryPoint Senior Living of Midland. She was born to the late Richard and Florence (Burke) Carter on September 14, 1930 in Flint, Michigan. Her childhood was spent in Coleman where both sets of grandparents lived, and Midland where she graduated from Midland High School. She married Bill Worden on December 6, 1952 and shared 48 loving years with him until he preceded her in death on November 20, 2000. She married Ed Sirrine on April 27, 2002 and enjoyed 11 loving years with him until he preceded her in death on July 13, 2013.
Pat loved genealogy and published the quarterly newsletter "Wordens Past" for many years, which is still being produced by others. She helped found the Worden Family Association. Many family vacations included side trips to cemeteries in search of headstones of ancestors. Her relationship with her brother, David, was very special and they shared frequent phone conversations, even when she was 94.
She is survived by her sons Rick Worden and Jeff (Jenny) Worden, daughter Linda (Mark) Steinke, brother David Carter, sister-in-law Ann Fitch, stepdaughters Marcia (Bob) Parnell, Cheri (Gordon) Martin, and Michelle Perry, grandchildren Emily (David) Pasotti, Jon (Robin) Steinke, Christine Worden, Aaron Steinke, Amanda Worden, Heather (Kevin) Wells, Julia (Jesse) Lower, Katya Worden, and Jonah (Hailey) Worden, great granddaughters Layla Lower and Berlin Pasotti, nieces Susan (Larry) Clatt and Sharon (John) Scanlon and nephews Chris (Kate) Carter and Steve (Heidi) Carter.
Pat is preceded in death by her two husbands, daughter-in-law Sandy Worden, sister-in-law Myrna Carter, brother-in-law Dick Fitch, and infant grandbabies Matthew Steinke, and twins Kirsty and Jason Worden.
A cremation has taken place per her wishes and a private family celebration of life will take place at a later date.
