Patricia Soposki
Herkimer - Patricia Soposki, 82, of Herkimer, passed away Friday, June 27, 2025, in Foltsbrook with her family by her side.
She was born in Herkimer, New York, on June 3, 1943, the daughter of the late Peter and Sophie Andrukonis Soposki. She attended Herkimer schools and graduated from Herkimer High School with the class of 1961. She later went on to attend Rider College in New Jersey, where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Science. Patricia was employed as a Business Teacher for Ilion High School, Ilion, NY, for many years until her retirement in 2001. Patricia was a communicant of St. Francis DeSales Church, Herkimer, NY.
Patricia is survived by several beloved cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by her father and mother, Peter Soposki and Sophie (Andrukonis) Soposki, and her twin brothers, Robert and Ronald Soposki in1950.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 10:00am in St. Francis De Sales Church, N. Bellinger St, Herkimer, where her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Herkimer. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, from 9:00 to 10:00am in the church vestibule.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi & Burns Funeral Home 329 S. Washington St., Herkimer, NY.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Patricia's memory may be made to CABVI, 507 Kent St., Utica, NY 13501. Envelopes will be available in the church vestibule on the day of the funeral.
