Patricia Spolsky (née McCunney Price), an extraordinary woman whose life was personified by her love for music, pets, travel, and most importantly her family, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness.
Born in Philadelphia, Patty was a proud graduate of Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls. She began her professional journey in the medical field, working in the hematology department at Albert Einstein Medical Center, where her meticulous nature and compassionate spirit were highly valued.
Following her career in healthcare, Patty embraced the world of retail, becoming an entrepreneur as the owner and operator of Zap's Dollar Store in Bensalem. Through Zap's, she became a cherished fixture in the community, forging countless friendships that lasted a lifetime. After the store's closing, she continued to connect with the public as the beloved cashier at Nickles. There, she joyfully shared her passions, engaging customers in lively conversations about her two favorite topics: music and travel. Her radiant personality and genuine interest in others brightened the day for everyone she met.
Above all else, Patty's greatest joy was her family. She was the devoted wife of Gerald Spolsky. She poured her love and spirit into her role as a loving mother to her sons: Michael Price (Emily), Chris Price (Fran, Maria), and Lance Price (Julie). Her role as Grandmother was one she embraced with boundless enthusiasm, showering affection on Hayden (Blakelee), Kelly, Kennedy (Gary), Austin, Connor, Aiden, Breigh, and Ian. She was also delighted to become a Great-grandmother to Gemma and Oliver.
Patty’s vibrant spirit, her infectious love of a good song, and her unwavering devotion to her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing and funeral on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Churchville, PA 18966.
