Patricia M. Swanger, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, 85 years of age of Lansford, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 22, 2025 while in the loving care of her family.
Born Friday, November 1, 1940 in Baltimore Maryland the daughter of the late Benjamin Harrison and Frieda (Haggert) Carnes. Patricia was also predeceased by; husband, William Swanger; Daughter, Deb Paulus, grandchildren, Jennifer Mattern, AJ Mattern; siblings, Delores Craven, Ellen Carnes, Benjamin (Harry) Carnes and John Carnes.
Surviving are; daughters, Dawn Mattern - Stout and her husband Leroy with whom she resided, Maryann Clouser wife of Albert Sr.; son, James Spink, Sr. and his wife Michele; grandchildren, James Spink, Shawn Spink, Melissa Kiehl, Amanda Lehman, Kimberly Mattern, Matthew Miller, Joshua Miller, and Daniel Miller Sr. , 22 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. And many nieces and nephews.
Patricia was the matriarch of her family and served as a role model earning her GED as an older adult. Patricia worked in the Garment Industry and assisted her daughter Dawn operating her day care, Kiddie Kapers in Lansford. Patricia enjoyed embroidery and playing games on her computer, going to the casino and spending time with her family.
