Patricia Caputo Tarabocchia,78, of Bridgeport, WV departed this earth on October 7th 2025

Patricia, affectionately known as Patty, was a daughter of the late Samuel P. Caputo Sr. and Evelyn H. Caputo and sister to the late Martha J. Caputo.

She is survived by her brother, Samuel P. Caputo, Jr., (Vanessa Caputo): her nieces, Alyssa Caputo, Maria Milford of Lexington Ky, Haley Rose Caputo and Amelia Elizabeth Caputo of Clarksburg: also her nephews, Samuel P. Caputo III (Mary Elizabeth Caputo) and Elio Caputo (Season Caputo).

Patty attended St. Mary's Grade School and was a graduate of Notre Dame High School Clarksburg, WV. Upon graduation Patty pursued a career in nursing. Her nursing education was at Carlow University and went on to Catholic University of America where she received her Masters of Nursing Science.

From there she enjoyed a successful 30 year career in nursing in Virginia and Maryland.

Patty enjoyed the company of her pets, Babe and Maddy, whom she adored and spoiled.

After her retirement she relocated back to West Virginia to be closer to her immediate family.

Patty's wishes were that there would be no viewing or service and to be cremated. She requested a day of remembrance with family at a date to be determined.

The family would like to thank the care and compassion of the United Hospital Center staff, the staff of Amedisys Health Care Services and her Maryland and Charles Point friends and neighbors.

Expressions of sympathy may be extended to the family at www.amoscarvelli.com. A service of Amos Carvelli Funeral Home.
