Patricia J. Taylor

Patricia J. Taylor, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2025, in Anderson, Indiana at the age of 88. Born on March 13, 1936, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Patricia's warmth and kindness radiated from her very being, enriching the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Patricia dedicated over 30 years of her life to the Farm Bureau, where her career was marked not just by her hard work but by the generous spirit she brought to her profession. A woman of great humor and compassion, she had an uncanny ability to make others feel comfortable and welcomed in her presence. Her kind heart and infectious laughter were treasures that will be missed dearly.

Though Patricia enjoyed a fulfilling career, her true passion lay in the time spent with her family. She delighted in trips to the beach during their time in Florida, where cherished memories were crafted with loved ones by her side. She was known for her love of the Covered Bridge Festival and her warm gatherings around Raccoon Lake. Patricia also found joy in playing cards and engaging in activities. She loved going to local casinos, sharing laughter and stories that would last a lifetime.

Patricia is survived by her son, Brett A. Taylor (Debra Revis), her daughter, Vicki Taylor, and her four grandchildren.

 Henry Taylor, who predeceased her after more than 50 years of marriage. Patricia also is preceded in death by her loving parents, Jackson B. Thomas and Gladys Atkinson Blackwell Thomas; as well as her siblings, sisters Shirley Lawrence and Sharon Butler, and brother Dave Thomas.

In honor of Patricia's remarkable life, a visitation will take place on February 6, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:30 PM at Flanner Buchanan - Washington Park North, located at 2706 Kessler Blvd W Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46228.

Patricia J. Taylor's spirit will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched.
