Patricia Taylor Obituary

Published by Legacy from Nov. 17 to Nov. 18, 2025.
Patricia Arlene Taylor, 70, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025, surrounded by loved

ones. Born on December 18, 1954, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Cumberland, Maryland, Patricia

"Patti" lived a life defined by service, compassion, and unwavering love for her family and

community.

A proud United States Air Force veteran, Patricia dedicated nearly 20 years to her country. Her

commitment to service extended far beyond her military career. She was a devoted mother,

daughter, sister, and friend whose kindness and generosity touched countless lives.

Patti had a deep love for animals and was an avid advocate for their well-being. She fostered

dozens of animals through a local rescue agency, giving each one a safe and loving temporary

home. She enjoyed the simple joys of life-reading, crocheting, and sharing laughter with those

closest to her. Her vibrant sense of humor, gentle spirit, and warm heart made her a beloved

presence to all who knew her.

A woman of great faith, Patti lived her love of God through her actions. She treated everyone

with compassion, grace, and a quiet strength that reflected her spiritual foundation.

She is survived by her children, Alexia R. De Leon and Matthew A.T. Coleman; her daughter-in-law, Ashley N. Coleman; her son-in-law, Manuel S. De Leon; and her niece, Tara Binge. Patricia

was a proud and loving grandmother to Matthew A.T. Coleman, Avionna N. Coleman, Jace M.

De Leon, Vincent A. De Leon, and Ember T. Coleman. She is also survived by her sisters,

Debora Kaufmann and Venus Starr, and her brother-in-law, Robert Kaufmann.

Patricia will be remembered for her boundless love, her selfless heart, and the joy she brought to

others-to the moon and back
