Patricia Ann Taylor

Patricia Ann (Showalter) Taylor, 93, of Harrisonburg, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Sentara RMH Medical Center.
Patricia was born on May 24, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Jacob Paul and Bertha Pence Showalter.
She was united in marriage to James William "JT" Taylor, who preceded her in death on March 4, 2010.
She was a proud member of North River Baptist Church.
She is survived by nieces, Dawn Keb, Laura Saggau, Sherry VanPelt, Ronda Buchannan, Tracey Veney, Tori Richardson, Tonya Price; nephews, James Ware, Howard Taylor, II; sisters-in-law, Goldie Showalter, Janet Showalter; brother-in-law, Howard Taylor & wife Julia; special friend, Patricia Hensley.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Kay Showalter, Samuel Showalter; sisters-in-law, Barbara Ware, Sheila Veney, brother-in-law, George Poindexter.
A service celebrating her life will be held on February 6, 2026 at 1 PM at Johnson Funeral & Cremation Service in Bridgewater with Chaplain David Kite officiating. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses.
