Patricia Wyatt Thompson

Patricia Wyatt Thompson, 80, wife of the late Bruce Thompson, died Wednesday, December 24, 2025.
Born in Travelers Rest, SC, she was the daughter of the late Pickens and Etrulia Roach Wyatt.
Pat lived a life filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to her family and community. A devoted member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Travelers Rest, Pat found joy and camaraderie in her faith community. Her passion for life extended to her love for gardening, where she cultivated both beautiful blooms and relationships. Additionally, she embraced an active lifestyle as a member of the Travelers Rest YMCA, inspiring those around her with her vitality and zest for life. Pat may have departed from this world, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by sons, Jason McPherson and Jeremy McPherson; son Greg Thompson (Courtney); grandchildren, Michael and Nicholas McPherson, Caroline, Margaret, Ann, and Hal Thompson; and brother, Gerald Wyatt.
She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Dana McPherson; and brother Caroll Wyatt.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 10:00 AM until 11:45 AM at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Travelers Rest followed by the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
