Patricia Ann Tilley

Patricia Ann Tilley, 70, of Kimball, WV, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at McDowell Healthcare Center in Gary. 

Born on January 29, 1954 in Kimball, she was a daughter of Earnest "Jigger" and Vivian Bessie Dalton. She was a member of the Maybeury Church of God. She was a graduate of Welch High School and had lived in McDowell County most of her life. 

She was preceded in death by her three brothers, Larry Dalton of Gary, WV, Bobby Dalton of Kimball, WV, and Jimmy "Bo" Dalton of Kimball, WV.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Joseph Tilley of Bluefield, VA; two sons, John Tilley of North Tazewell, VA and Kevin Tilley of Bluefield, WV; 4 grandchildren; and two sisters, Barbara Handy of Milton, VT and Carol Gillespie of Kimball, WV. A host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She taught Sunday School for over 20 years and spent around 15 years being a caregiver for her Mother, Father, and eldest brother.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Kenneth Abram officiating. Friends may call prior to services, from 1:00-2:00.
