My sympathy to the family. Pat was a wonderful person and taught me so much not only about Directives but about living life to the fullest. I am so sorry to hear of her passing; the world has lost a wonderful person and she will be missed by all.

We are very sorry to hear of her passing- I knew of her but did not know her very well. However, all that I heard was very very good! Peace be with her family during this sorrowful time. It will be a blue Christmas this year.

I will always remember our first meeting. Pat taught me everything I needed to know about Navy directives and where the best flea markets in DC were. Rest in peace and may God bless you in the afterlife.

To the family: Pat and I were not only colleagues - but friends. I will never forget finding out that her mother-in-law and my grandmother (Dola Mattingly) were on the same bowling league. Pat and I took a day trip to Southern MD to visit family and friends and managed to include some shopping and eating along the way. Her passion for Navy directives and genealogy was well known. I took pleasure in campaigning for her last promotion with the Navy. No one worked harder or was more dedicated than she.
