She was also a member of Red Hats and was an active member of the St Luke Lutheran Church Quilters Group in Spokane. She lived in many different places in the USA over the years, such as Spokane, WA- Bozeman, MT -Amarillo, TX - Hoffman Estates, IL- and Highlands Ranch, CO.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Steve, daughter Holly Fernalld, son Brandon (Serina), grandchildren Alison and Austin, daughter-in-law Rachel, grandson Weston, sister Joyce Roadarmel of Denver, CO and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Many thanks go out to all her care providers and to the comfort team at Hospice of Spokane.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Today Holly, Brandon, Alison, Joyce, Teri and I remembered your birthday by having lunch at The Cathay Inn. It was a nice visit. The girls are going to Northern Quest later to celebrate a little more. We all missed you and hope your day up the road was a fine one. Very hot and dry here so staying inside to stay cool. Mr. Max sends a big puppy kiss to you. Love & miss you.

Teri and Joyce are here to visit Holly and they and all the kids, grandkids and Max gathered together here to enjoy Pizza etc and to for sure remember PRT.

Doesn´t seem like it´s been three years since you moved on this date to that better spot up the road where you can continue to keep a close eye on all of us. Your special hummingbird flowers are in full bloom now in your memory. Everyone sends their love to you. If possible send some rain showers here.

Christmas 2024 has passed and New Years Day 2025 was yesterday. Once again the kids and grandkids came here for dinner and sharing. Boy are Alison, Austin and Weston growing up. The big kids all visited and helped with prime rib dinner once again. No snow on Christmas, but that´s OK. On New Year´s Eve Max and I watched the ball drop in Times Square at 9:00 our time. Then as usual we were in bed by 9:30. Hope you and Brian got to spend time together. We all Love and miss you very much for sure.

2/14/2024: Happy Anniversary Today would have been # 51. Even though you are not here physically to mark the occasion I´m sure you are in spirit. It was 51 years ago we were in the Millwood United Methodist Church repeating our vows. Then to a small reception at home and two days later we were off to Heavenly Valley where you could ski and I nursed my broken leg! Over the years you proved over and over you were a great wife and a wonderful mother for our combined family. Thanks for all the memories Patti. Say hi to BPT today. Rachel turns 50 on Saturday and Weston is driving and so is Austin if you can imagine. All of your family here loves and misses you!!

Hi there. Tomorrow´s Christmas Day , one of your favorite days each year. Sure do miss not being here to supervise the day with family. Rachel, Weston, Holly and grandkids will be here. Brandon has Covid and Serina just got over it so they likely won´t be here unless we get together on deck. Max is anxious for Santa to come. I hope you and Brian get together.
Holly and I will go to church today for candlelight service and say a special prayer for you and Brian.
No snow here this holiday season.
Miss you very much each day.
Merry Christmas Grammy!

One year ago this date we celebrated your memorial at St Luke. Today a few of the old car folks (Dan & Debbie, Pete & Kathy, Bob & Eve and Bob and Joanne got together to have lunch. We remembered this date and lots of fun talk about our past get togethers like going to Philipsburg MT. We also remembered Bob Geddes who passed away last month. Everyone was doing pretty good and adjusting to all the aches and pains etc that go along with aging. I sent Pastor Taran a note thanking him again for all he did for our family a year ago. He's a good guy. The kids are doing good and wishing it would cooooool down some. Miss you a lot for sure. Max sends his LOVE!

Hard to believe a year has gone by since you moved to a better place up the road where you can keep a watchful eye on all of us. Not a day goes by where you are not missed. The kids and grandkids are doing good and send their love. Holly had right knee replaced and is recovering well. I had a bit of a heart issue recently but I´m on the mend. Max misses you a bunch and spends many hours watching out the front bdrm window hoping to see you out front trimming your roses . Give Brian a hug from us.
Love you lots. Stephen

1/17/2023. It´s already been 6 months since you moved a little ways up the road. Seems like it was just yesterday that you were here, sitting on back porch, giving Max a nice ear scratch. Saturday will mark the 6th year since Brian passed away. Like you, he´s greatly missed. Everyone sends their love.

Hi there. It the first day in a new year. Hope you didn't stay up too late last night. As has been the norm around here many time I was asleep by 10 PM. It was quiet yesterday and Holly stopped by for a bit. She spent the day with Austin and Alison doing fun things with them. They are with her for most of the day again today. Max just snoozed most of the day. Weston was at his house with his mom. Winter has calmed down some and the snowpack here is shrinking quite a bit. Been busy boxing the Christmas decorations and will have that all done by tomorrow. We all miss you very much for sure and will continue to send you notes. We also hope that 2023 brings about better times for all.

Hi there. It's Christmas Eve, and that means that tomorrow is Christmas Day, one of your favorite days of the year and the first Christmas in almost 50 years we have been apart. So many good memories of times we spent together with family and friends during the holidays. I always had fun putting up the decorations for you to enjoy. This year I slacked off a bit and only put up a few lights outside due to the extreme weather we have had. Ali helped me put up a tree downstairs and also put out several Santas. I lost count at 107 for the total "santa" items she put out. There's still some in the storage room. Holly had the annual Beta holiday dinner here in your honor. I cooked the meat and the girls provided the rest. A small crowd due to weather and illness but still a fun time. Tomorrow the kids and grandkids will be here mid day for dinner and family time. I hope that you catch up with Brian tomorrow to spend some time together and between the two of you keep a close eye on everyone. We miss you greatly Patti, Mom, Grammy.. All our love on this special time of year. Max sends his special love.

Hi there. Yesterday was Thanksgiving, and as has been tradition since we moved back to Spokane the kids and grandkids were here for any early dinner. We shared thoughts of what we were all thankful for and Alison read what was on your card from last year. Brought a tear to all eyes for sure. We had a nice visit and everyone was on their way by 3 pm. Max just loved having so many people here to play with. It is cold here and supposed to be even colder the next couple weeks. Holly will be out shopping today and I am sure she misses not having you by her side to officially kick off the Christmas shopping season. Weston spent the night with Austin yesterday and I expect they had a great time. They have not seen each other that much this year. Everyone misses their mom/grammy/wife greatly each day and hope that you have had a chance to spend some time with Brian and others that have left us. Love you lots

Dear Patti. A week ago today we celebrated your life at your Memorial Service at St Luke. What a wonderful service it was. Pastor Taran officiated, and gave a wonderful sermon comparing all the positive things in your heart to those in our Lord's heart. Teri and Holly read scripture versus, and Brandon gave a fantastic eulogy about you. I hope you were pleased with the hymns that were sung, especially the last one "When the Saints Go Marching In'" that gave an upbeat send off for you. Lindsey and Cassie held you close as I drove you one last time in the "37 Ford" to church. A crowd of nearly 200 were in attendance and all were so complimentary of you and all your life's accomplishments. You will be missed more than you can imagine and I love you very much. Max misses you so much, The grandkids while sad, are proud of the fact that you were the best Grammy that could be asked for. As you wait a ways up the road to greet us some day when our number is called say hi to those that have been before us. Love Steve
