Patricia Ann Vann

Patricia Ann Vann, age 73, of DeFuniak Springs, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born July 27, 1949 in Annapolis, Maryland to Sidney Ford and Eleanor Johnson Ford. She grew up in Annapolis, later moving to South Florida in 1978. Patricia was a dedicated employee at every job she had, from waitressing to working for White's Construction, and gave 100% of herself to whatever she did. Eventually relocating to DeFuniak Springs, she worked as a custodian for Walton County Health Department until she retired. Patricia was a beloved mother, nana and great-nana. She loved her rose garden, where she had a special bird bath for the birds that she loved to feed. Reading, playing puzzle games on her computer, and the occasional trip to the casino, was enjoyed by Patricia. More than anything, she loved being with her family, especially spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Wade and Tammy Waldman (Andrea); three grandchildren, Chanda Wade, Tammi Wade, and Dillon Wade (Sarah Swanson); three great-grandchildren, Landin, Lila and Andrew; two siblings, Bonnie and Skippy; and many friends and loved ones.
