My beloved Patsy,
We met about 25 short years ago in our Bible Study Fellowship group. We bonded over our love of God's Word, and our respect for each other. We shared laughter, prayers, holidays, and trips to France and the Virgin Islands among other adventures. I treasure your friendship and always will. More than that, you were the sister I never had.

I became concerned after my attempts to reach you from my overseas mission went unanswered. Of course I was stunned, when I learned you had passed. I still cannot believe you are gone!

Patsy, you are a rare and precious jewel, known for your compassion and concern for others. No one could escape your lovingkindness. You left an indelible mark on our hearts, from the thousands of patients you helped, to your Church family, your own family, and the many other families you created by your light and determination and love. What will we do without you?

My heart is brokenI wish I could be with you now with our beloved Lord. But soon, dear one, soon, we will be reunited again, by God's grace. Enjoy His loving presence and Shalom. Will continue praying his sweet peace and comfort upon your precious family and friends, and all who knew you. I love you, Shawn <3

Dear Patricia,

Working down in the laboratory with Dr. Roche, I was happy to see that you caught his heart.

In the ICU, you were a great help to the lab and your patients when we needed to obtain specimens. Always gracious is how you will be remembered.

Words fail me....

Patricia was so beloved by so many. She was incredibly intelligent, well read, a loving heart that knew no bounds. Her warmth and love cannot be measured. I have the fondest memories over the last 40 years. Her absence leaves a creator in all our lives. My heart is in pieces as there is nothing or no one that can replace her. I miss her terribly and fear that the coming days will be difficult without her. I'm happy and comforted that she is in the Lord's presence free of pain and suffering. She has left a profound effect on all of us. I still love her beyond words.

We were so saddened to hear of the loss of dear Patsy, fondly remembering our visits with her at Morro Bay, Gwynedd PA with the Parkers and more recently in Los Angeles with the Trims.

My first memory of Patsy was during her visit to New York when we were both in our teens (a long time ago). I was impressed even then with her warmth, empathy, unassuming nature, and her love for the Lord. She had the same warmth when we visited her and the Widtfeldt family a few years ago. While her parting was a real shock to us, we so rejoice that she is now with her Lord in paradise. We are praying for His great strength and comfort for her dear mother and the family in the coming days. We convey our warm love to them all.

"For HE is our peace." Ephesians 2:14.

I worked with Pat in the ICU for 35 years. She was a great nurse and one of the kindest people I've known. I have many cherish memories of Pat and I working with patients. My condolences to Pat's family.

To the dear Widfeldt Family:

I was fortunate to visit your family home twice and remember well Patsy epitomizing the family's warmth and hospitality as well as a sincere interest in the Lord and souls. I trust the family will find the comfort of the hymn: "What will it be when sorrow's day is ended, And pain and grief for ever passed away; When with Thee, Lord, we share the bright forever, In perfect peace throughout the perfect day!"

Affectionately, with love and prayers, in our Lord Jesus Christ -- Andrew Walker

What a loss! We weren't ready to say, "goodbye". Your joy of life, dancing, taking exceptional photos, and singing endeared you to us. Sharing meals at each other's houses, or at the Sacramento Jazz Festival are just afew of our precious memories. Our grandchildren hold one specific weekend dear as they sampled Krispy Kreme donuts, grilling and swimming with you.

Dear Elina, Anne, Art, and Nancy,

May the Father of compassions comfort each of you in your bereavement and may He bless your gathering together on Monday for Patsy's burial service. I am reminded afresh of a verse in JND's hymn,

"Our happiness, O Lord, with Thee
Is long laid up in store,
For that blest day when Thee we'll see,
and conflict will be o'er".

Love and blessings in our Lord Jesus to you all and your families.

Pat was exceptional example of a caring individual. There wasn't a time she spoke of herself but wanted to know what was going on in ours, especially regarding Ardon's various health issues. Having just seen her joyful self in Florida exactly a month ago,

Pat was exceptional example of a caring individual. There wasn't a time she spoke of herself but wanted to know what was going on in ours, especially regarding Ardon's various health issues. Having just seen her joyful self in Florida exactly a month ago, full of smiles and looking well, her death absolutely stunned us as we didn't know of her cancer condition. Our visit together in Florida makes that memory extra special, like her sweet smile. Ardon joins me in sending much love to every family member. We were thinking of coming out but the holiday season is sooo full already. May the loving Presence of the Lord be present and felt during this time of grief. We love you.

Dear family, I am so sorry for your loss of dear Patsy. So many good memories of our times together in our youth. Even though my time with her was very limited of late, she always had a kind and encouraging word when she would comment on Facebook to me. This is heartbreaking, but I know that she is at peace now and with her Lord! My thoughts and prayers are with you all!

Auntie Pat (my first cousin once removed) was such a genuine, open, inclusive, and nurturing presence. I don't know when I'll ever be able to wrap my head around her being gone, partly I'm sure because her influence in my life and others permeates our own lives and will be passed on to our children and children's children. Grace and unshakable faith in trials and tribulations, a fearless willingness to deal head on with any challenges, fiercely self-sufficient, deeply loving and eager to affirm others.

There wasn't enough time with you, Aunt Patsy. But the time we had with you was meaningful, intentional, and full to overflowing with love. You will be missed. Your earthly impact will have its ripple effect, surely at least for a millennia. Heaven is rejoicing at your homecoming (either that or curled up deep in a sofa with you feeling heard and validated, because that's what you do!) this very day. I love you.
