Patricia Wiles Obituary

Published by Legacy on Nov. 3, 2025.
Patricia Lea (Smith) Wiles, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 31st, 2025, surrounded by the love and presence of her family.
Born on April 27, 1951, to Norman Smith and Zelma "Maxine" Stoops, Patricia lived a life marked by grace, compassion, and unwavering faith. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her, and her legacy of love and strength will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
She was preceded in death by her one true love, Russell Raymond Wiles; her parents, Norman and Maxine; her sisters, Thelma Rousey and Sharon Vineyard; and her brother, Carrol Wiles.
Patricia is survived by her loving children: Joe & Tracy Wiles, Sandra Wiles, and Tricia Wiles. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Ryan & Brittany Sneed, Tiffany Wiles, Joey & Kalynn Wiles, Savannah & Joey Tracy, Krystal & Dusty Studdard, Brandon "Smiley" Matthews, and Dustin & Shandy Matthews. Her legacy continues through 13 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a devoted circle of family and friends: sisters Carolyn Ray, Linda Mann, Norma Jean & Phil Yost, Connie & Lonnie Maggard, Becky Stoops, Wanda & Darrell Goin, and Angie Holland. Her brothers Ronnie & Sharon Smith, Dallas & Diane Wiles, and Larry & Sandy Wiles also survive her.
Patricia will be remembered for her generous heart, her steadfast devotion to her loved ones, and the light she brought into every room. Her door was always open – physically and emotionally – to anyone in need. She believed in "Family Over Everything", and that belief radiated through every life she touched. Whether you were kin by blood or by love, Grandma Pat made you feel like you belonged.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 11:00 a.m at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with a graveside service to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
