Patricia Ann Willis, age 80, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2025 at home surrounded by family. Pat was born on March 3, 1945 in Sherman, Texas to parents George and Juanita Phillipy.
On December 1, 1982, she married her husband David in Bunker Hill. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially holiday gatherings and Sunday get togethers. She and David spent many loving years together traveling and living near family in both Indiana and Florida. Pat enjoyed visiting the Precious Moments Chapel and playing cards with her family. Pat was a devout christian and attended church at Zion Chapel.
She is survived by David Willis, Kokomo, Indiana, her husband of 43 years; children Tony (Karen Moss) Gardner of Galveston, Indiana; Leon (Bronwyn) Gardner of Kokomo, Indiana; and Teresa (Kevin) Whitney of Guntersville, Alabama. Grandchildren Ashley (Curtis) Terry of Happy Valley, Oregon; Brittany (Colton) Wolfe of Peru, Indiana; Jeremy (Savannah) Whitney of Albertsville, Alabama; Tiffany (Matt) Hall of Gaston, Indiana; Chera (Nikki) Whitney of Birmingham, Alabama; Connor Wisher of Kokomo, Indiana; Karlee Whitney of Boaz, Alabama; and Becca Whitney of Happy Valley, Oregon. Her sister Alice Kistler of Peru, Indiana and brother David Phillipy of Monticello, Kentucky. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by many dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents George and Juanita Phillipy and her sisters Helen Steele and Linnie Percy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 10:00am at Zion Chapel Church, 915 South Broadway, Peru, Indiana. Burial will follow at Springdale Cemetery in Bunker Hill, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Chapel Church.
