Patricia (Trish) Wilson March 26, 1961 – October 9, 2025

Patricia "Trish" Wilson, 64, of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on October 9, 2025.

A lifelong lover of the arts, Trish found her greatest joy in the rhythm of New Orleans - especially the soulful sounds of Jazz. She was a devoted attendee of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, where the music and spirit of the city came alive around her.

Trish's creativity blossomed not only through her deep appreciation of music but also in her garden and her poetry. She nurtured life and beauty wherever she went - from the flowers she lovingly grew and arranged to the verses she penned with heart and grace. She also had a deep affection for her animals, especially her beloved cats and chickens, who brought her daily joy and companionship.

Throughout her life, Trish shared her vibrant energy and warmth with the New Orleans community. She spent many years working in floral design and later became a familiar and beloved face at The Olde Absinthe House in the French Quarter, where she managed and bartended with her signature charm and laughter.

Trish was preceded in death by her beloved husband and soulmate, Rick Tippie, who passed in 2020; her father Leonard (Candy) Wilson; and her mother Patty Wilson. She is survived by her siblings Gary (Shari) Wilson, Mia Wilson, Lisa (Leo) Hanna, Kari (Scott) Kaytor, and David (Sarah) Wilson; and by her nieces and nephews Jack, Sara, Gabrielle, Jacob, Ben, and Jonah. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Carlyn Paratore, with whom she shared a special and loving bond, and her brother-in-law Mike (Norma) Tippie.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Trish's life at a memorial service on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, Louisiana.

Her memory will live on in the gardens she tended, the poems she wrote, and the music and laughter that continues to play through the streets of New Orleans.
