Patricia M. Zine

Patricia M. Zine, 90, passed away on November 25, 2025 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was born on July 7, 1935 in Corning, NY, to Charles and Mary (Colegrove) Wilcox. She was a 1954 graduate of Painted Post High School, where she was involved in cheerleading, served as head majorette, participated in Girls Club, and played the saxophone and oboe in the concert band.
She married Anthony Zine in 1955, and was predeceased by him in 1994.
Patricia enjoyed golfing, playing cards, bowling, and volunteer work. She was a member of the Corning Area Women's Club, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Corning Moose Club, and the Corning Elks Club.
She is survived by her son, Michael Zine of Horseheads; grandchildren Rachel Zine and Emily Zine; and sisters Martha Morse and June Tranelli, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Zine; sisters Pauline Kapral, Peg Verkon, and Gerri Schroeder; brother Charles Wilcox.
Family and friends are invited to call at Carpenter's Funeral Home, 14 E. Pulteney Street, Corning, NY, on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 4:00–6:00 PM. A prayer service will immediately follow at 6:00 PM with Fr. Matthew Walter officiating. She will be laid to rest in a private graveside service alongside her husband, Anthony, in St. Mary's Cemetery.
