Patrick James Casey, 59
1966 - 2025
Lynn - Patrick James Casey, age 59, of Lynn, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. He was the son of the late James and Edna (Reid) Casey. A lifelong Lynn Resident, he was a graduate of Lynn Vocational and Technical Institute, class of 1985.
Patrick was a certified electrician and had worked for A-1 Lighting Company in Revere. He was a longtime member of the Lynn Yacht Club and enjoyed hanging out with his friends there. He was also a licensed scuba diver and was part of an underwater search and recovery dive team. He was a die-hard Bruins fan, and loved Rock & Roll music, especially Van Halen in his younger years.
Patrick was predeceased by the love of his life, Brenda Hannan six years ago, as well as his brother, Thomas last November. He is survived by his step-daughter, Chantal Phillips of South Carolina; two grandsons, who lovingly called him "Grampy", Blake and Cannon; his siblings; Debra Casey and her husband Tom Garden of Windham, NH, David Casey and his wife Denise of North Carolina, and Donna Williams and her husband Russ of Beverly; his sisters-in-law, Lorraine Casey of Palm Springs, CA and Ursula Casey of Beverly; his aunt, Joan Wall of Lynn; as well as his niece, several nephews and cousins.
Service Information: A graveside service will be held on May 22, 2025 at 11AM in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923. Arrangements by the SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME, Lynn.
