Patrick James Catanzarite, known affectionately by all as "PJ," departed this life on May 20, 2025, at the age of 55, in his native South Bend, Indiana. Born on August 3, 1969, to Betty (Simmons) Catanzarite and Pat Catanzarite who preceded him in death, PJ was a beacon of love and loyalty to all who knew him.
PJ's spirit is carried on by his beloved wife, Jennifer (Conner) Catanzarite; his proud son, Conner Catanzarite; his caring sister, Cathy Catanzarite of Estero, Florida; and his supportive brothers, Tom (Billie) Catanzarite of Cassopolis, Michigan, and Larry Catanzarite of Granger, Indiana.
PJ was a die-hard Notre Dame fan, especially football. He enjoyed summers on Diamond Lake, Michigan. He cherished the company of family and friends and found joy in the world of gaming, sharing his passion with those he loved.
Those fortunate enough to have known PJ would describe him as loving-a man who brought warmth and kindness into the lives of others. His departure leaves a void in the hearts of many, yet his legacy of compassion and camaraderie endures. PJ will be profoundly missed and forever remembered as the embodiment of a life well-lived and loved.
The family would like to thank Dr. Luke White for the compassion he showed.
Per his wishes, no services will be held.
