Passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and brother. Survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary (Jorissen); son Gregory (Julien); daughter-in-law, Jacquie (Desautels); granddaughters Claire and Caroline; brother Michael (Mary); sister-in-law Janette Ayd; brother-in-law James Jorissen; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, James and Marie (Schufman); brother, Jim; sister, Molly; and sons Stephen and John.

For over six decades, Pat stood side by side with his partner in life, Mary, who cared for him until the very end. He loved each of his children dearly. Through scouting, family vacations, and trips to the cabin, Pat instilled in them a deep love of nature and captured many of those cherished memories in photographs. A master craftsman and committed do-it-yourselfer, he designed and built furniture, transformed unfinished spaces into living and working areas, poured patios, landscaped yards, replaced roofs, and even added a three-season porch to the family home. He offered advice and pitched in when friends needed assistance with their own home-improvement projects. Pat was also an accomplished baker. Each Christmas, he delighted in making toffee and Wasserspatzen to share with neighbors and family. He had a lifelong love of animals and especially treasured the family's Scotties. He will be remembered for his integrity, hard work, resilience, and generous heart.

Visitation 9:30-10:30 AM Friday, March 13, at CHURCH OF THE EPIPHANY, 1900 111th Avenue NW, Coon Rapids, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Interment at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
