I only knew Pat for a short time but I have never met anyone who appreciated the out of doors as much as he. Perhaps from being inside so very much. He also had a great sense of humor and generally you saw it when you were least expecting it. A special man.

My best childhood memories are with my Uncle Pat. Every Friday night, my Grandma and Uncle Pat would take me to the movies. Every Saturday it was shopping (and he almost always bought me something). We used to walk through the woods to Koontz Lake which always seemed like an adventure. He would buy some snacks for him and I and a copy of Mad Magazine. I would sit forever with him while he showed me his latest drawings and we would laugh as they were always so clever and funny. I'll cherish the memory of going with my Grandma to pick up Uncle Pat at his lunch break and have lunch at Jacob's Drug Store so I could get a "hamburger and a Coke". Uncle Pat, you were the best Uncle that a girl could ask for. I love you and miss you with all of my heart. I will see you when I get there.
