Patrick John Damanti

Patrick J. Damanti a longtime resident of Darien and recent resident of Norwalk passed away on Thursday July 7, 2022, peacefully at home with family by his side. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 6, 1947 to the late Angelo Damanti and Anna Valentino. He was 75 years old.
Pat received a bachelor degree from the college which he adored Holy Cross and then attended and obtained a law degree from Villanova & St. John Law School. He was a Lawyer and a member of the American Bar Association.
He enjoyed and could often be seen walking his beloved dog Chance up and down the Post Road in Darien. Pat loved his community. He was known for helping others and would do so with such great pride and without looking for recognition. He was a quiet soul who spent many hours in the library soaking up every last word in a book. He also enjoyed volunteering as Chairman of Planning & Zoning in Darien for 16 years. In addition, Pat was a longtime member and always looked forward to attending Mass at St Matthew Church in Norwalk. Above all, Pat was a family man who loved spending time with his wife and children. He lived for his family who he adored with every ounce of his soul.
Pat is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Regina and his four children, Patrick (Gina) Damanti, Kerry Damanti and boyfriend Chris Vento, Heather (Charlie) Reyes and Michael (Stella) Damanti. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
A wake will be held on Wednesday July 13, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Rd., Darien, CT 06820. Mass will be held on Thursday July 14, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk, CT 06854. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery in Darien.
