Back on the northside, when we were teenagers, Pat was my first real boyfriend. He was so sweet, caring, and such a great guy... even my mother liked him! We will never forget you, Pat...

I have known pat since I was just a little kid,14 yrs old? He and my older brother Scott were good friends. I always had a crush on Patrick,. When I was 24,pat started coming around quite often, seeing my brother Scott and I lived together. One day pat came up to me all excited, while I was pushing my cart around in Snyder's on Penn, off of Lowry ave, no mpls..He grabbed my cart and insisted he was going to pay for all my things. Seems he just hit 600 in pull tabs at the Starlight lounge/bar!! From that moment on we were quite the item, haha..Patrick took me and my 2 kids under his wings as if we were his own flesh and blood. We were married in 1992 shortly after having a child of our own. We drove down to LasVegas and had a great time!! We enjoyed many road trips together, lots of slow dances, laughter, and MUCH MUCH LOVE...Some yrs later we were divorced, unfortunetly..We had grown apart..Though the love in our hearts never died..Pat moved out to cally with his new love and was there for 10 yrs, I believe..When he moved back to minn We (kari and I) were very happy..Pat and I became good friends again..He spent many weekends at our home..It felt good to have him back around..Patrick was/is a huge part of my life, He will forever be missed, until we meet again. My heart breaks each and everyday over the lost life of Pat..Sure wish I could bring him back. Love Tammy,xo

I had only had a few opportunities to be around Pat. He was always very friendly, and would talk about fishing with me. I regret that I never had an opportunity to fish with him, as it is one of my passions also.

I wish his family and friends my condolences. He was too young and loved to go so soon. I hope he finds the peace and relief from his pain.

Pat, you were the best stepfather to my sister, brother & I for 13 years. I met you in Minnesota during high school, & you & my mom moved out to San Diego a year following myself . I have hundreds of happy memories over the years & always felt I could talk to you about anything. You were always there for us, especially my mother Penny & my neice Lashyrah. We all miss and love you more than you'll ever know Pat! Words will never be able to express how much you meant to all of us. You were more than a father figure to me you were my best friend. Thank you for being such a wonderful loving person to us all! I know you will always remain with us in spirit and in our hearts. Pat I would give anything in this world to have the chance to say good bye & tell you how much I love you!! God Bless you & see you again one day!

Pat and I grew up in the 70's on the northside. He was always the guy with the story. He touched a lot of lives and was a friend to all. He left a mark with a lot of people that would never be forgotten. We separated for 18yrs only to become reacquainted and closer then we ever were. Pat I love ya like a brother. You will never be forgotten. Love ya man

Pat was one of the greatest and most thoughtful men I have ever met in my life. He has been part of my life and my family for many years and has been an inspiration to me in my life. He was there through thick and thin with us and helped my mom, brother, sister and my daughter start a new career and life in California. He had changed my life tremendously and taught me to be strong and MANY other things in life as well.
The day Pat passed away was one of the saddest days of my life. Pat was more than a stepfather to me, as he was there for me my mom and family and my daughter Lashyrah whenever we needed him without a question and without asking for anything in return. He had made such an impact on my family, mother's and daughter Lashyrah OBannon's life! We love you Pat and I could never thank you enough for everything you did for us, and will always think of like a father and best friend to count on and will always remember all the good times we had. I glad you have no more suffering, no more pain, Rest in Peace until we meet again. Love you forever and Always my true DEAR FRIEND! RIP Patrick

I will always miss my little brother something awful. I will try to find peace and comfort by remembering all the good times we had together. Especially when we spent time at my favorite place in the world and this lifetime, my hobby farm. Pat spent a lot of time with me up there and I will never forget how he helped me chase my pet turkeys in the rain for 2 1/2 hours. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
I will cherish the family time we shared, one trip in particular was when we went to Canada with our Dad.
Or our fishes time in general. I will spread your ashes in all your favorite fishing spots.
Say Hi to all our loved ones for me!
I will always love you

Pat was my favorite uncle, he was such a character. He always had a story of when him & so and so did...
I will miss our visits when I'm in MN, all our trips to the casino and our lengthy conversations about random things.
You will not be forgotten!

Dear Nephew we miss your wonderful laugh,
as we think of you.
Memories of you will fill our hearts
And hopefully ease the loss.
We hope you are fishing for that next big
Trophy fish up there with the Great Spirit,
And laughing your wonderful laugh, just
Before you release it. Now, we must
Release you, with sadness and yet, joy in having you in our life.

Pat was my good friend since our teens. Growing together he was always someone you could count on in many facets. He was quick to make you laugh with his great wit. And loyal as any true friend could be. The terrific times we spent on the lake, in the fish house or around the card table will be cherished memories I will carry all of my days. Friends like this don't come around very often and leave us way too soon. I'll miss you buddy. My the great spirit hold you in his hand for all time and not squeeze too tight. Bobby G.
