Patrick James Farran, age 67, of St Louis Park, MN, formerly of Kasson, MN passed away from Parkinson's disease on January 4th, 2025 at the Cedars in St Louis Park, MN. Patrick was born on May 20, 1957 in Clarion, Iowa to Robert and Mary (Elledge) Farran. He grew up in Clarion, Iowa then at a young age, moved to Rochester, MN with his family. He attended and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1975. He worked briefly at St Mary's hospital before attending the Rochester Technical School. He became an electronic technician, working at IBM in Rochester until having to retire due to medical reasons in 2007. Following his retirement, he lived in assisted living homes across Minnesota including in Cannon Falls, Hutchinson, and Wanamingo, MN. Patrick enjoyed reading the bible, and listening to music, especially music from the 70s and 80s and enjoyed his motorcycle. He often attended and watched the races that were held in Brainerd, MN.
His parents, Robert and Mary Farran; and his grandparents precede him in death.
He is survived by his brothers, Michael (Sue) Farran, and Jeff (Rhonda) Farran; along with several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Patrick will be held in the spring.
Inurnment will take place at the columbarium at the Wayzata Community Church in Wayzata, MN.
