Patrick Hallock

I worked with Pat at Control Data for 11 years. He was always fun and brilliant. Sorry to come across his obit. The password for a huge system he managed was Triciaa after Trish. So many great memories.

I remember many special moments with Pat: working with him on the project at Blue Cross, many discussions about ORM and his visits to my Data modeling class at the University of Minnesota (and Trish too!), sitting around a fire in his backyard when Terry Halpin visited us, visiting him in the hospital one time. We also shared in the Giving Voice chorus - I sang in person with my wife Marty on Wed mornings (until her passing in 2021) while Pat was with the virtual chorus. I was privileged to share our love of ORM and music with Pat. I remember him with a smile on his face and a joyful attitude always.
