Patrick M. Hannan

Patrick M. Hannan, 51, of Seekonk died unexpectedly at home on Wednesday. Born in Providence he was the Beloved son of Sandra C. Silva of North Kingstown and the late Paul E. Hannan. He lived in Riverside for many years before moving to Seekonk.
Patrick was an iron worker for Local 37 for 27 years. He was a 1990 graduate of Seekonk High School and then served in the Army National Guard as part of Desert Storm and Desert Shield. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.
Besides his mother he leaves two sisters: Robin Dagwan and her husband Joseph and their son Joey of North Kingstown and Maureen E. Hannan Gomes of Newport and her daughter Kaylee Shanahan of Winter Springs, FL and son Kevin Gomes Jr. of Newport. He also leaves his great nieces Lexis and Kendall and great nephew Brooks as well as his step brothers Keith and Michael Silva of North Kingstown and his Aunt and Uncle William and Sandra Hannan of Barrington in addition to numerous aunts and uncles and cousins.
The Funeral will be held on Thursday at 10am in the Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral Home 210 Taunton Ave. East Providence, R.I. followed by a service at 11. Calling hours will be Wednesday 4-7pm. Interment following the funeral service will be at the R.I. Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Donations in his memory may be made to Operation Stand Down, 1010 Hartford Ave., Johnston, R.I. 02919.
