Patrick Jay Holcomb, age 58, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at his home in West Branch, MI. He was born on June 1, 1966, in Detroit, MI, to Burl and Joanna Holcomb.
Patrick was known for his remarkable ability to fix anything that came his way. His craftsmanship was evident in all he did, whether it was volunteering at Habitat for Humanity for many years or simply tinkering with projects at home. Additionally, his sense of humor brightened the lives of those around him, as he was known to be quite the jokester.
Among his many hobbies and interests, Patrick particularly enjoyed reading, flying kites and spending time on the water. He found great joy in water skiing, sledding in the winter, and most of all, cherished moments spent with his children and family.
Patrick is survived by his son Jacob (Kaitlyn) Holcomb, daughters Shawn (Micah) Schiefer, Leah Holcomb, and Joanna Holcomb. He is also survived by his sister Patricia "Tricha" Holcomb Immonen, brothers John (Laura) Holcomb and Robert (Lisa) Holcomb, and former spouse and friends Rachel and Pat Hafner.
He is preceded in death by Mr. & Mrs. Burl and Joanna Holcomb and brothers Lewis and Glenn.
A memorial service will be held at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m.
Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
As we come together to celebrate Patrick's life, let us remember the laughter he brought into our lives and the warmth of his presence. May his legacy live on in our hearts forever.
