Patrick Keeley Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory - Loves Park on Mar. 17, 2026.
Patrick Michael Keeley, 70, of Caledonia, Illinois, entered his eternal home to be with the Lord on March 15, 2026. He was born on November 26, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois.

Patrick proudly served his country as a Military Police Officer in the United States Army. After his service, he built a career defined by dedication, hard work, and integrity. He began as a gear grinder and, through perseverance and determination, worked his way up to become a quality control inspector and manager for several companies, including Forest City Gear. Most recently, he served as a Quality Representative for Bell Helicopter, where he had been looking forward to retiring on April 9th after a lifetime of hard work and commitment to providing for his family.

Above all else, Patrick was a devoted husband, father, and Papa. He shared 46 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Julianne, whom he loved deeply and unconditionally. Together, they built a family rooted in love, faith, and loyalty.

He is survived by his loving children, Andrew Keeley (Jenny) and Colleen Lundgren (Andrew). He was a proud and loving Papa to Brock, Bridget, Sophia, Henry, Finnley, Joslyn, Camryn, and Kodie, who brought him immeasurable joy. He is also survived by his brothers, William (Patti) Keeley and John (Barb) Keeley, as well as many nieces and nephews. Patrick was preceded in death by two of his beloved children, Brian Keeley and Heather Ordiway; his parents, William and Catherine Keeley; his brothers, Joseph, Robert, and Richard Keeley; and his sister, Gloria Ravensbeck.

Anyone who knew Patrick knew he had a heart of gold. He welcomed everyone with open arms and made people feel like family. He believed deeply in hard work and responsibility, values he instilled in his children through both his words and example. Patrick especially loved warm summer afternoons spent outdoors. He enjoyed feeling the sun on his face while boating or fishing on the lake, cheering on his beloved Green Bay Packers, grilling delicious meals, and sitting around the bonfire with family and friends.

He will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his strong faith, his generosity, and the example he set for those who knew him. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing he is now reunited with our Heavenly Father and the loved ones who went before him, welcomed home into eternal peace.

As we remember the life he lived and the faith that guided him, we hold close the words that now welcome him home: "Well done, good and faithful servant." - Matthew 25:23

Forever loved and missed by his wife, children, and grandchildren, until we meet again.

Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, March 20, 2026 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park, IL 61111. Funeral service will be at 11:00am on Saturday, March 21, in Grace Lutheran Church, 6000 Broadway Road, Richmond, IL 60071, with Pastor Andrew Tyrrell officiating. Burial in Roselawn Memory Gardens, Lake Geneva, WI.
