Patrick Kernan of Farmington, Missouri was born on April 14th, 1941 in Desloge, Missouri, a son to the late Raymond Kernan and Bulah (Buxton) Kernan. Patrick passed away on May 26th, 2023.
Patrick is survived by his loving wife Wilma Theresa (Politte) Kernan; daughter, Roxanna Palmer and husband Kenneth; sons, Patrick R. Kernan Jr. and wife Debra, Jason Kernan and wife Deena; sisters, Rosemary Phillips, Arleen Brewster; brothers, Thomas Kernan and wife Kathy, Donald Kernan and wife Joyce, John Kernan and Gretchen; additionally survived by grandchildren, Josh, Brady, Kumi, Tucker, Lillie, Alexa, Ashley, Hunter, and Caleb-Jack in addition to many other relatives and friends.
Patrick lived an extraordinary life where he touched countless hearts and left an indelible mark upon all those he met. Patrick served his country diligently as a member of the United States Air Force from 1958-1962, being awarded the Good Conduct Medal. He had a passion for mechanics and spent many years working as one.
Patrick loved antique cars and could often be found admiring them at various shows. He was also a loving and caring individual who cherished his family above all else. His grandchildren held a very special place in his heart and he loved spending time with them. In his free time, Patrick enjoyed traveling, camping, bowling, playing Euchre, and spending time with his family. He took every opportunity to be around those he loved.
Patrick's memory will live on through the lives of all those who knew him. His kindness, selflessness, and gentle spirit will be forever remembered and cherished. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
