Lyden family, I am very saddened to have read of Patrick´s passing. Stunned actually. The Lyden family has meant a great deal to me especially as a young lawyer. I met Bill Snr in late 1967. He became my second client (I collected the rents from the tenants at the Bird Galloway shopping center). Through Bill Snr I meet the rest of the family over the next several years, Bill II and then Patrick Snr and Patrick II. I can attest that Patrick II was an extraordinary and unique person, client, friend and yes agrarian. I now live in Madison, WI, and regret not being able to attend Patrick´s Memorial and Church service. I attended many a Lyden family event over the early years and always felt part of the family. Patrick´s passing saddens me very much and I offer you all my prayers and condolences.

Dear Patrick and Kevin,
I was so sorry to hear about your dad. Pat was a close friend of mine for over sixty years, and for ten of those I had the privilege of working with him at the nursery. He was one of a kind - magnetic, funny without even trying, and always surrounded by friends.
I´ll never forget the times our families shared - that Royal Caribbean Christmas cruise when you boys were young, my kids still talk about riding around the nursery in golf carts with you, and the many dinner parties we enjoyed with the old Columbus High School gang and our wives. Those are some of my favorite memories, and your dad was at the heart of them.
I know this past year has been especially hard with the loss of both your mom and dad. Please know I´m thinking of you both, and remembering your parents with deep gratitude and affection. They touched a lot of lives, mine included.
With deepest sympathy,
Bill Hansen

So sorry to hear of Patrick´s passing. Although I have not seen Payrick in many many years, I grew up with him and all his siblings at Epiphany elementary school. I will keep him and you all in my prayers.
