Patrick Philip Anthony Lynch, 66, of Bective, County Meath, Ireland, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on December 23, 2025, in Melbourne, Florida, under the care of the staff at Viera Hospital.
Patrick was born on June 7, 1959, in Drogheda, Ireland, to Patrick Lynch and Elizabeth "Lila" (Sheridan) Lynch, beginning a life deeply rooted in Irish heritage. He worked as a Superintendent for Malcolm Drilling for eight years.
Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick Lynch and Elizabeth "Lila" (Sheridan) Lynch.
Patrick is survived by his children, Michelle Moore (Connell), Rebecka Lynch, Lauren Coyle (Lynch) and husband Caleb Coyle, and Kyle Lynch; his sisters, Kay Hatton and Carmel Leonard; his brothers, Joe Lynch, Michael Lynch, and Oliver Lynch; his former wife, Una Lynch; and his significant other, Kerry McGuire. He was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his granddaughter, Emerson Coyle.
Celebrations of Life will be held in Patrick's honor:
The first will take place on January 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST at Sandbar Sports Grill, located at 4301 Ocean Beach Blvd,
Cocoa Beach, FL 32931. This was a place Patrick enjoyed visiting with his work friends to share a pint and the occasional Mai Tai.
A second Celebration of Life will be held in North Carolina on March 7, 2026, with additional details to be shared at a later time.
A final, private Celebration of Life will be held with close family in Ireland, where Patrick's ashes will be scattered.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who wish to honor Patrick's memory to consider making a donation in his name to Lung Cancer Research or
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
