Patrick J. Maher

Patrick J. Maher, 68, of Hinckley, passed away peacefully August 5, 2025. Patrick is survived by his wife of 42 years, Tracie (Louk); his children, Erica and Christopher Maher; and his sister, Mary (the late George) Tshinkle. Preceding him in death were his parents; his siblings, Diane and Lawrence Maher; and his faithful canine companion, Blue. Patrick was born in Cleveland on March 1, 1957 to James and Dolores Maher. He spent 35 years at First Energy as a mechanic. Patrick could always be found under the stars, camping, grilling, lost in a movie, or elbow deep in an engine. Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m., Friday, August 15, 2025, at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick, followed by a Memorial Service at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
