With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our brother Patrick J. McNamara on November 22, 2025.

Pat was a very kind gentle man who had a passion for fishing and always had his rod and reel ready to go.  One of the biggest days on the calendar was Opening day for Trout fishing.  One of his greatest joys was catching the biggest trout opening day in Riverton, CT.

Pat loved all animals particularly his cats who he took such good care of and are missing him terribly.  

Pat is survived by his wife Patricia (Patty) McNamara.  Siblings Thomas McNamara Santa Rosa, CA.,  Bill McNamara of New Fairfield,CT, Maribeth McNamara-Meriden, CT, Nieces and Nephews Matthew Baez, Erin Baez Worthen, Aaron McNamara and Lauren Curiel.  Several great nieces and nephews.  Lifelong friends Chris Erdman and Chuck Ramos and many others from the Projects.   Pat is pre deceased by his parents Thomas and Patricia McNamara.  

A Memorial Service for Pat will be held Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 2:00 - 4:00pm at the Brooklawn Funeral Home 511 Brook Street, Rocky Hill CT. 06067.In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the Meriden Humane Society 311 Murdock Ave.  Meriden, CT.
