Patrick Anthony Necerato, a cherished father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a devout servant of the church, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026, in Upland, California. Born on December 17, 1947, in Mount Holly, New Jersey, Pat's journey through life was marked by dedication, compassion, and a spirit of service that touched countless lives.

Pat grew up in close-knit communities of New Jersey, such as Trenton, where he was one of four children. His siblings, Joseph, Angelica, and Ursula, all of whom preceded him in death, shared in the joys and challenges of their early years together. Pat's youthful days were filled with the vigor of bodybuilding, where his discipline and commitment shone brightly as he competed in several competitions. His passion for fitness led him to own a gym and offer personal training, helping others achieve their wellness goals.

His professional life took a turn when he ventured into the automotive industry, where for over two decades, Pat excelled as both a charismatic salesman and a knowledgeable industry mechanics instructor. His work in this field brought him to California in 1990, where he would eventually settle and continue to make profound connections with those around him.

After losing his beloved wife of 37 years, Darlene, in 2021, Pat found solace and strength in his deep faith. He dedicated the last 20 years of his life to the Catholic Church through the Diocese of San Bernardino. As a Deacon, he served at St. Martha in Murrieta, St. Vincent in Menifee, and as the Pastoral Coordinator at St. Catherine's in Temecula, California. His love for the church and its members was evident in every sermon he delivered and every life he touched.

Deacon Pat's interests were as diverse as his talents. He was an avid gun and coin collector, finding joy in the history and craftsmanship of each piece. His garage was a sanctuary where he could tinker to his heart's content, often while enjoying the rich flavors of Italian cuisine. Those who knew Deacon Pat will remember him as a giving soul, trustworthy friend, intelligent mentor, and a man who was always impeccably put together.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication in his four children, Patrick Jr., Joseph, Cynthia, and Denny, who will carry forward the values he instilled in them; along with his 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Deacon Pat's life was a testament to the beauty of devotion-to his family, his church, and his community.
