Patrick Thomas Nichols, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on November 5, 2025, in Augusta, Georgia. He was born on October 16, 1950, in Midland, Michigan, and throughout his life, he embodied the values of hard work, dedication, and a love for the great outdoors.

With a career that spanned over 35 years, Patrick made a significant impact as a construction manager at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions. His meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence were hallmarks of his work, earning him the respect and admiration of colleagues and peers throughout his industry. Patrick's journey began with an Associate degree, which laid the foundation for his successful and fulfilling career.

Beyond the confines of his professional life, Patrick was a man of many passions. An avid outdoorsman, he found joy in hunting and gardening, taking pleasure in the serenity that nature offered. He also had a remarkable talent for woodworking, creating beautiful, intricate picture frames that will forever remind his family and friends of his creativity and skill. Each piece crafted by Patrick was a reflection of his personality-thoughtful, detailed, and uniquely one-of-a-kind.

Patrick was a loving husband to Debra (Puckett) Nichols, who stood by his side through life's many adventures. Together, they navigated the journey of marriage with love and support, creating countless memories that they cherished. He was a proud father to Jacob Robinson, whom he loved deeply, instilling in him the same values of hard work and appreciation for the outdoors that defined his own life.

His sister, Judy (Jeff) Pratt, shared a special bond with Patrick, filled with laughter and shared experiences that created a lifetime of memories. Patrick's impact extended beyond his immediate family; his warm spirit and kind heart touched everyone he met.

Patrick is preceded in death by his father, Robert Nichols, and his mother, Ruth (Bryon) Nichols. While Patrick is no longer with us, his legacy of love, hard work, and creativity will continue to live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will be cherished, his stories lovingly recounted, and his spirit will forever remain alive in the beauty of nature he adored so much and the lives he has influenced throughout his journey.
